7 Budget Friendly Looks
Written by Mollie Knight
I am sure we are all feeling the after-effects of an indulgent festive period, in more ways than one (anyone else doing Dry January?). If your bank account took a little hit in December, we’re here to help! I’ve put together 7 of my favourite low-budget looks from our collection, perfect for any occasion you have planned this month.
1. Grey Heather Jumpsuit, Zara, from £7.99
This stylish jumpsuit is an absolute steal at only £7.99 for a four day rental. Comfortable, yet chic – great for working from home or a casual brunch. The muted grey means it pairs well with most colours, making this piece super versatile.
2. Baby Peony Stripe Midi Dress, Stylewise, from £8.99
Ditch the January blues and inject a splash of colour into your wardrobe with this beautiful midi dress. Perfect for a work to dinner transition just by switching up the accessories. The off the shoulder neckline and leg slit make this dress a modest-yet-sexy option for anybody wanting to spice up their fits without breaking the bank.
3. Olive Garden Maxi Dress, Miss Selfridge, from £9.99
Maxis are a great way to incorporate dresses in the winter, they keep your legs warm and also provide the opportunity for secret layering like tights, leggings or pyjama bottoms (no one is judging). This green number is no different. Stretchy and form-fitting, this dress is a comfortable classic ideal for a casual date or winter walk.
4. Brown Box Jumpsuit, Zara, from £9.99
This jumpsuit is a simple way to create a complete look that doesn’t look simple at all. The straight cut of this jumpsuit means it is flattering for lots of different body shapes. The golden-brown fabric is great for darker skin tones too. I would wear this to work, to brunch, to dinner – just layering jewellery for a bolder look!
5. Brown Gypsy Corset Crop + Skirt Co-Ord, Malden Jeans, from £12.99
Feel like making a statement this winter? Go for this completely unique co-ord for only £12.99 for a four day rental. As a co-ord you can mix and match the top and skirt with other pieces you already own, meaning you can really get your money’s worth! The gorgeous purple-brown colour has a richness that’s unmatched.
6. Fluffy Caramel Mini Waist Coat, Voyelles, from £9.99
The waistcoat is honestly one of my favourite pieces in our collection. Faux fur is most definitely having its moment right now and this fabulous caramel piece is a great addition to any outfit. It can be dressed up or down, depending on what you layer underneath. It gets bonus points for being super warm too!
7. Dark Skies Stripe Mohair Maxi Dress, Suerte, from £10.99
Looking for vintage pieces that don’t cost a fortune? I mean you can’t find a better bargain than this Suerte knitted mohair dress. You can also get it in green, see the Dark Forrest Stripe Mohair Maxi Dress. The stunning stripes running down the entirety of the dress make this a super flattering one-of-a-kind piece. Pair with dark accessories for a modern edgy look.
That completes this budget-friendly lookbook. If you want to explore our budget collection further, check out our £10.99 + Under or £20 + Under sections.
